how to make blockboard

Blockboard is made up of a core of softwood strips. These strips may be up to about 25mm wide. The strips are placed edge to edge and sandwiched between veneers of hardwood. The sandwich is then glued under high pressure.

JINLUN blockboard production line is an advanced semi-automatic making machine which makes blockboard with high efficiency. The process is like this.

First of all, we need to cut the timber into small pieces with our special equipment. It is a sawing machine.

Second, gluing the small wooden blocks with our glue spreader.

Then, pave the blocks on our paving line, it is 2 layers line, using about 3-4 persons.

After all above steps, the panel go to the hot press machine automaticlly.

Pressing time is according to the local tempresure and your glue. Normally 3-4 minutes is enough. During this time, the staff is paving the board. So the production line is not lost any time.

After all, we need to cool the panels with fan in 1-2 minutes.

Then, the panel is finished. You can put on base and top veneer on the board or sand and polish them as your requires.
