Automatic Log Cutting Saw
The Automatic Log Cutting Saw is a high-efficiency and safe solution widely used in veneer and plywood factories. Before veneer production, logs often need to be cut into specific lengths. This machine automatically cuts logs into the required size and conveys them into the log debarker, ensuring a smooth veneer production process.
Without this equipment, logs must be cut manually, which is inefficient and unsafe for workers. With automated feeding, clamping, sawing, and discharging functions, the Log Cutting Saw allows continuous operation and significantly improves production efficiency.
Working Principle
Logs are transported into the sawing area via a chain or conveyor belt. The alloy circular saw blade cuts the wood at high speed, achieving precise, clean, and efficient cutting. Depending on production requirements, the machine can be equipped with one to three blades, or an optional chain saw blade for oversized logs.

1. High-Speed Steel Saw Blade

For logs exceeding Φ500mm, the chain saw blade is recommended. It can handle large diameters (up to 1000mm) more effectively than oversized circular blades.
3. Triple Cutting Blade System
Equipped with two or three cutting blades to increase output. One cutting saw can be matched with up to three veneer peeling lines, reducing investment and maintenance costs.
4. Log Clamping Device
Secures logs firmly during cutting to prevent movement, ensuring precision, safety, and smooth operation.
5. Full Automatic Control Unit
Adopts inverter soft start and braking system to protect the heavy blades and motors. Operators can choose between semi-automatic and fully automatic control modes depending on log quality.
